I needed to do some soldering for an upcoming project, only to find my soldering iron was broken. The problem is the soldering iron isn't getting hot - not even warm.

So as it's a problem people face and because some of the information is transferable to other situations, I decided to document my basic fault finding on the soldering iron.

Honest Update

Hi guys what going on? Thought I'd share an update here as I haven't done one in a while and it's probably time I started treating this blog as a blog and not just somewhere to hang my videos.

So a little update:

• I'm currently trying to update my old site with the new branding.
• I'm working on making some free Android apps to accompany some of the videos. ( Depends if worth doing and will only be for Android users)
• I've got some videos I want to make, but that all depends on how much free time I can get and of course how good the weather is for filming.

360 No Scope Slingshot

So it's been awhile since I got the chance to make a video for the channel, so I thought I'd come back with a bang.

The 360 no scope slingshot I created in the video is just a prototype, obviously you could refine the design and use better materials. I just used what I had to hand around the house.

So seeing as you're here reading this, chances are you want to know a little more about the design.

New Look, New Injury

Well I'm back with a bang! New channel look and I overhauled the branding I use. Not going to lie, I drop the bomb on some pretty big YouTube names in this next video.

Here's my new injury that I'm sporting from shooting the latest film. It's kind of funny because in an earlier video I Photoshopped by thumb to look all bruised to use as a thumbnail.
